CloudFuze 2.0 Customer Migration Instructions

With the release of CloudFuze 2.0, CloudFuze customers will need to transition from version 1.1. CloudFuze will continue to support version 1.1 for a period of time to enable customers to transition on their own schedule.The migration schedule and processes are detailed below for each client type.

Note that all customers will be required to change/reset their password to capitalize on new security features and will also need to reauthorize each of the cloud storage services used on CloudFuze.

 *CloudFuze will send notification via email when version 2.0 becomes available for Windows desktop clients. Customers will also be prompted to upgrade when they log in once 2.0 is available.

 

Step by Step Process to Upgrade to 2.0

Web app
  1. Upon going to normal login screen on CloudFuze web site, customer will be presented with a 2.0 migration page.
  2. Customer will have the choice to continue to log into 1.1 or to select 2.0.
  3. Upon selecting 2.0, the customer will be prompted to use reset password process. This process will send a link to the customer’s email.From this link, the customer will reset their password.
  4. Upon completing password change process after entering through 2.0 link, the customer will arrive at 2.0 version of CloudFuze web app.
  5. User will then need to reauthorize cloud storage services (and add new ones if appropriate).
Android
  1. Customers have to upgrade CloudFuze 2.0 from Google Play Store.
  2. From the log in screen, customers will need to do “reset password.”
  3. Selecting “reset password” will trigger an email to the customer’s registered email address.
  4. The customer will then need to click on hyperlink in the reset password email and complete the password change IN THE WEB APPLICATION.
  5. Upon changing his/her login password via the web application, the customer will be ready to log into the newly installed version of CloudFuze 2.0 for Android using his/her newly created password.

NOTE:  If  customer  has already upgraded from the web application, please skip 2,3,4&5 and login into android app.

Apple iOS
  1. Customers have to upgrade CloudFuze 2.0 from Apple App Store.
  2. From the log in screen, customers will need to do “reset password.”
  3. Selecting “reset password” will trigger an email to the customer’s registered email address.
  4. The customer will then need to click on hyperlink in the reset password email and complete the password change IN THE WEB APPLICATION.
  5. Upon changing his/her login password via the web application, the customer will be ready to log into the newly installed version of CloudFuze 2.0 for Apple IOS using his/her newly created password.

NOTE:  If  customer  has already upgraded from the web application, please skip 2,3,4&5 and login into Apple IOS app.
